Summer Metallics Look with Inglot Video Tutorial

I'm on a roll with tutorials!! This is another look using Inglot eyeshadows. This is more of a simple look that has become a go-to everyday look for me so far this summer. I am obsessed with Inglot right now! Could ya tell? ;-)

Metallics are still on trend for this summer. Golds, and Bronzes especially. So this look is perfect! There are many many brands that have these colors of eyeshadows so you don't have to use Inglot. I have just had requests to do some tutorials with my Inglot shadows.

Colorful Summer Look using Inglot Shadows Video Tutorial

Hi my beauties!! I'm sorry I have been neglecting my site here and my YouTube Channel lately! I was so busy a few weeks ago, and the when school got out I've just been enjoying my kids, going to the pool and being lazy! HA! But I'm getting back into the swing of things now :)

It was hugely requested of me to do some tutorials using my Inglot eyeshadows. So this will be my first one using the Rainbow shadows from Inglot. I will film another tutorial using some different Inglot shadows today so look for that one in the next few days :)

I am so in love with Inglot!! Their eyeshadows are so incredible! So pigmented, so creamy, so lovely to work with! I think the quality of their shadows are equal to if not better than MAC. I only wish there was an Inglot store close to me. Closest one is in Las Vegas, as well as the closest MAC store to me. Maybe that is a good thing, I spend enough $$ as it is! LOL

So I sat down to film this video with no idea what I was going to do. Which I love playing in my makeup but I'm not sure it makes for the best videos. So I apologize for the length of this video. But I hope you enjoy it despite it being 20 minutes long.

I want to say HI BEAUTIES and Thank you so all my new subscribers!! I so appreciate your support! LOVES!!

Tangerine Makeup for Summer Video Tutorial

Sephora stated about a month or so ago that 'Tangerine is the color of the year'. Good color choice if you ask me. So I of course wanted to do a look using a tangerine theme. I was going to do the look on myself but thought it would be gorgeous on my niece Mckennly too. So she agreed to be my model again. Since the last video you saw Mckennly in I have highlighted and cut her hair. Hope you like that too. I think she looks gorgeous!

I don't have the Tangerine products that Sephora is selling but I have very similar colors in palettes that I purchased from Sleek Makeup last summer. Sleek is only available in the U.K. but they do ship to the U.S. (for a reasonable flat rate) and their products are fabulous and affordable.

I curled Kennly's hair with a flat iron which I did try to film as a hair tutorial, but I'm not sure I like it. So I'll look at it and then decide if I want to upload it or re-film it another time. Mostly likely will re-film it ha!

I hope you enjoy this video and the tangerine colors as much as I do!

Lookin' Good Naked with Tan Towel Product Review

Now how's that for a post title? HA! It actually says on the packaging of this product "Look Good Naked". Which is totally brilliant marketing because you remember a tag line like that. So as you can guess I'm reviewing the Tan Towel product in this post. This is a review I promised you after announcing on Facebook and Twitter that I had purchased the Tan Towels.

These are sold online at Tan Towel's website, they are sold on QVC and HSN as well as in salons. I picked up mine at my local licensed only beauty supply. I'm always on the look out for a great self tanning product because I am very into sun safety. I always wear sunscreen and put sunscreen on my kids. But so many self tanners fall short. There are so many out there that are just ok. Nothing that I would personally say is fantastic. Then I came across these babies.

They are FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! The box comes with 5 tan towels. The towels look exactly like those wet naps you get at restaurants to clean your hands with. Only these ones are bigger because they are meant to use on your whole body. I picked up the Full Body Application towels for Fair to Medium Skin because as we all know I'm as white girl as they come. I was so excited to use these that I even gave one to my bestie Heather to try out with me. Luckily she is fair skinned as well.

Here is what it says on the box: Each tantowel classic towelette is concentrated with a self-tan formula to give you a quick and even application with no streaking, mess or fuss. Tantowel classic will produce a uniform, natural looking glow within 2 to 4 hours. For a deeper tan, apply another tantowel after 4 hours. To maintain your tan, reapply as needed or 2 to 3 times a week. For a darker result apply more frequently. Light citrus fragrance. Results may vary.

So I would have to agree with what the box says and I have used 2 towels since purchasing them. My tan was streak free, so easy to apply and the best part was the product dried super fast after applying, and there was no residue on my clothing or my bed sheets. The citrus scent is actually quite nice and it doesn't smell like a self tanner. Which I know is a plus for some people. It was a plus for my friend Heather who tried to towels with me.

Before I applied the product I took a shower to clean and exfoliate my skin as well as shave. After I dried myself off I applied my face moisturizer and some lotion to my heels and palms to prevent too much product saturation in those areas. Then I unfolded the towelette and wiped it in circular motions starting with my legs first. I started with my legs first because that is where I wanted the most concentration of my tan to be. Then applied to my feet, arms, chest/tummy, back, neck and last my face. The towels are really wet with the product and I just kept using it until it was pretty much dry to make sure I got my money's worth ;-) I immediately washed my hands afterwards.

I was amazed at how fast the product dried on my skin. It dried a couple minutes after I was done applying and I was able to get into my PJ's. By the time I went to bed a couple hours later I started to notice the tan already appearing on my skin.

The next morning I was so excited to see the tan on my skin! It was so nice looking! It had awesome color, no orange AT ALL, and looked completely even and natural! I've never every had a better self tanning product! I was instantly in love! My friend Heather and I meet at the bus stop every morning to send our kids off to school and we were raving to each other and admiring our lovely tans!

I have since re-applied (5 days after the first application), last night actually, and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my tan! So natural looking and it didn't go too dark at all. Which is a really good thing when you are as fair as I am. Overall I am giving this product 5 stars. It is completely amazingly awesome!

So awesome, in fact that I am going to sell them to my clients so they can get them locally from me as they are only sold to salon professionals, online or QVC or HSN.

The Tan Towels come in Full Body Applications, Half Body (which I don't get why you would only want half, but maybe if you were just doing your legs?), and they also have sunscreen and lotions available. It comes in 2 different boxes for Fair to Medium skin tones and Medium to Dark skin tones. The towels do not contain any SPF in them so you will still need to apply sunscreen. And obviously they are for external use only ;-)

Let me know if you try these out! I'm super happy with them!
